From CDA Re: SoCal Wildfire CDAF Disaster Relief
Southern California is facing widespread devastation as wildfires and high winds continue to destroy homes and threaten public safety. Thankfully, our LA-based board members continue to be safe, and we are in continued contact with them.
In response to this, the CDA Foundation has reactivated its disaster relief efforts and created a fund to support the safety, well-being and recovery of our dental community members. Beginning today, we have launched a link for individuals to donate to our disaster relief program, with an application for individuals to apply for funds that can be found here. An additional CDA email will be sent to all members with links to more comprehensive information including the Wellness Program, TDIC, and practice support resources.
If you would like to contribute to this fund, please follow the directions below. Your tax-deductible donation, in any amount, makes a difference.

- Specify the amount of your donation.
- Select the frequency of your donation (one-time).
- Choose “Southern California Wildfire Relief Fund” from the drop-down menu.
- Fill in the remaining fields and select “continue” to proceed with payment.

Scam Alert
Members Be Aware…several SDDS members have received an imposter email using our “leadership names” as the sender; but if you right click on the email, they are sent from presid714@gmail.com. The email is requesting payments to be made through various online transfer.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO ANY REQUESTS!
Also, please know that your emails are not shared with anyone nor are they listed on our website. Please report this phishing email (right click on email and REPORT). And, PLEASE, don’t send money to anyone who asks via email…
